1. What this is. Escape Nicotine is an educational program about nicotine and belief. It is not medical advice, therapy, or a medical device, and no outcome is promised. Sessions labeled "hypnosis-style" are guided audio recordings, not hypnotherapy.
2. Who it's for. Adults 18 and older.
3. Health & safety. Do not stop prescribed nicotine-replacement products or quit-smoking medication without talking to your prescriber. If withdrawal feels severe or your mood declines significantly, see a clinician. Do not listen to audio sessions while driving or operating machinery.
4. Purchase. The one-time unlock is a non-consumable in-app purchase handled by Apple or Google under their terms, including their refund processes. Family Sharing is enabled where the platform supports it.
5. Your content and data. Your data stays on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You can export or delete it at any time in Settings.
6. Intellectual property. All app content — text, audio, artwork, the Trickster character and associated expressions — is owned by Alberta Coding Company Inc. Personal, non-commercial use only.
7. No warranty. The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alberta Coding Company Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
8. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.
9. Changes. Material changes to these terms will be posted in the app and on escapenicotine.com before they take effect.
