Privacy Policy
The short version
Everything stays on your phone. We don't have a server. We can't see your data even if we wanted to.
What the app stores — on your device only
- Your product choice (cigarettes, vape, pouches, chew) and optional cost-per-day
- Lock-In questionnaire answers (your belief scores)
- Waves you log with the SOS tool
- App settings (text size, narrator speed)
- Purchase state
None of this leaves your device. There is no account, no sign-up, no email capture, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind in this version.
Purchases
Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play). We receive anonymous purchase receipts through our payment provider (RevenueCat) to unlock the course; these contain no personal information beyond what Apple/Google's receipt system provides.
Your controls
- Export: Settings → "Export my data" produces a JSON file of everything above.
- Delete: Settings → "Delete everything" erases all app data permanently. There is no cloud copy — deletion is immediate and final.
This website
escapenicotine.com is a static page. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

Escape Nicotine is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone, of any age — see above.
Health note
Escape Nicotine is an educational program, not medical advice or a medical device. If you use prescribed nicotine-replacement products or medication, talk to your prescriber before changing anything.
Changes
If a future version ever collects anything (e.g. opt-in analytics), this policy and the app's store privacy labels will say so plainly before it happens.
